Monster House
A message from builder Bill Yes, I did it! I was on episode #3 of Monster House featured on The
Discovery Channel. The producers flew me to California where I was one of five builders
who modified a house in a 1970's disco theme. We had five days to finish on time and
when we did we were awarded some nice tools as prizes. They found me from searching on the
internet for someone who knew how to build lighted dance floors. When they saw that I had
invented the portable lighted dance floor, they explained what the show was all about and
asked if I would like to participate. How could I say no! I've been asked what it was like
being on a reality TV show. I didn't quite know what I was getting into at the time
but I will say, I worked incredibly hard and met some of the nicest people and had a lot
of fun. I will try to post my behind the scenes story, more pictures, and a couple clips
when I have more time.
